Warrior Within

He is the face of justice and a whip. To evil

Caliburnus Rises

He walks in the shadows
of the days and nights
Unseen and unnoticed
by thought or sight
For to all he looks
like everyone else
Most of who have
their souls to sell
Battered and bruised
they may be
Taken hits many a
time, slaves he sees
But he keeps his head
down, avoiding eyes
Wearing his armour
on the inside
Nurturing the warrior
within
Fighting all corruption
and sin
This crusader knight
this ninja, this samurai
This warrior of might
In the shadows, out of sight

Resuming clean to work after a boring independence day.

Sometimes I wonder when again will Nigerians be happy celebrating its freedom…traveling from Abuja yesterday all the States I passed where so bored. I could imagine them regreting why the government declare public holiday from the looks on their faces. Apart from the government workers that didn’t go to.work you wouldn’t have known that the country was celebrating its independence. I can’t tell for the capital territory but i know for sure that its of no much difference because of the security problem the country is facing.which the government have failed to confront boldly. They have been playing politics with human life. But despite all this fact I believe the country is ours and we. Should always speak well of her. I strongly condemn all those citizen critics on social sites. The more we think great of her the more she change for the best. NIGERIA…good people great nation.

Excuses

Procrastination is a thief of time.

Eric Tonningsen's Awakening to Awareness

“Excuses are the tools with which persons with no purpose in view build for themselves great monuments of nothing.” ~ Steven Grayhm

Name one person, including yourself, who hasn’t made an excuse. You’re still thinking aren’t you? Chances are we know few, if any, who haven’t offered an excuse at some time. Excuses can be counter-productive, damaging, and leave people wondering about your dependability or integrity. Excuses may seem like rational reasons for us not to do something, but if we’re not careful we can allow them to keep us from reaching our goals. Too often we accept our excuses as reasons why we cannot accomplish what we set out to do, and instead of finding alternatives we give up. You’ve been there, right? But if we can be honest with ourselves and take responsibility for our choices, we will begin to notice that we no longer give excuses.
